Phra Pathom Chedi is the famous temple in Nakhon Pathom, it's , I believe, the largest pagoda in Thailand and during my visit, it's under renovation. Didn't go in to the pagoda but manage to walk around and take some pictures. This is the place where I tripped and my camera fell on the floor and my lens broke into pieces :(
As usual, we can find road side foodstalls pretty much every corners in Thailand. This interestingly looking balls string together, certainly is one of the famous Thai food. It's called 'Saikrop Isan' or fermented sausage from the northeast. There are different kind of these sausages, some can be eaten raw and some are grilled. Normally the Thais eat them with chilli, some cabbage and garlic. It's yummy!
I'm always fascinated by the Thai architecture. This palace is opened for public. It has became a park where people jog or spend their evening with family. It was too bad that we couldn't get in to this temple/palace because we went there too late and it has passed the opening hours.
